Tips for Enjoying Waterfalls & Coastal Trails

  1. Timing: Visit waterfalls early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds. If you get anywhere on Jeju before 11am you’re pretty safe as most people don’t tend to get started early.
  2. Footwear: Wear comfortable shoes or sandals for coastal walks and bear in mind that some areas may be slippery.
  3. Weather: Coastal winds can be strong so check conditions before heading out. And if you’re walking in summer bring plenty of water, hats and sunscreen – it can get very hot.
  4. Family-Friendly Options: Most major waterfalls and estuaries are accessible for kids and short coastal paths are ideal for families.
  5. Photography: Early morning or golden hour is best for waterfalls and cliffs.
