About Jeju Island

Jeju is a small island – so it has the bonus of being able to visit in a day. But with so many places to visit, you can also easily spend a week (or more) exploring the island at a slower pace.
Based on our experience touring around the island, we’ve created different itineraries from 1 day to a full week.
All our itineraries aim to combine the best of what Jeju has to offer – but there is also lots of flexibility to mix and match to find the perfect itinerary for you.
Don’t forget to think about the time of year you visit. While the beaches are stunning year round, if you’re coming in winter bring plenty of layers (and a good quality jacket)! With the winds blowing in from Siberia, it can get pretty chilly on Jeju Island during the winter months (November to February).

Towns and Villages
A great way to really experience the heart of Jeju is by visiting some of Jeju towns and villages:
- Seogwipo – Southern charm with waterfalls, markets, lots of cute cafes and coastal trails.
- Jeju City – The main hub of Jeju (with around one million residents), Jeju City offers museums, shopping, and easy access to the island’s northern attractions.
- Udo Island – A short ferry ride away, Udo is a unique day trip from Jeju where you can hire a car, electric scooter or rent a bike and cycle around the island. The island is also home to Olle Route 1-1, so you can walk the island and take in the stunning views.
- Other villages – Hallim, Seongsan, and plenty of other castal communities for authentic local experiences.
