The seasons on Jeju are:

Spring (March–May) – Cherry blossoms and tangerine blossoms are in full bloom. This is one of the best times to visit the island – sunny days, cooler nights and spending time outdoors.

Getting to Jeju Island

Reaching Jeju Island is easier than you might think, whether you’re coming from elsewhere in Korea or from nearby Asian countries. You can fly direct from cities like Seoul, Busan, Tokyo, Taipei, Hong Kong, or Shanghai, or take a scenic ferry from ports on the Korean mainland.

By Air: Jeju International Airport (CJU) is just outside Jeju City, making transfers quick and convenient. Domestic flights from Seoul, Busan, and other Korean cities are frequent, while seasonal international flights connect Jeju to major hubs in Japan, Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong. Flight times are around 1 hour from Korea or 2–3 hours from international destinations.

By Ferry: For a slower, more scenic arrival, ferries depart from Mokpo, Wando, Yeosu, and Busan. Travel times range from 1.5 to 5 hours depending on the route, with onboard seating and outdoor decks to enjoy the views.
